Bosun Privacy Policy

Zero G Rigging · Effective August 27, 2026

This policy describes how Zero G Rigging ("we," "us") uses the Bosun assistant ("the App") with QuickBooks Online. The App is a private internal tool used only by Zero G Rigging. It is not offered to the public.

Information we access

When connected to QuickBooks Online, the App may access accounting data for our own company, including customers, vendors, invoices, bills, expenses, time activities, receipts, items, and related records. The App may also process receipts, emails, and job notes that we provide so they can be recorded in QuickBooks Online.

How we use that information

We use this information only to operate Zero G Rigging: creating and updating expenses, attaching receipts, logging billable time, matching work to clients, and related bookkeeping. We do not sell this information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to run the App, host it, or comply with law.

Who can access it

Access is limited to authorized Zero G Rigging personnel and the App acting on our behalf. Intuit/QuickBooks remains the system of record for accounting data stored in QuickBooks Online.

Retention

Accounting records remain in QuickBooks Online according to our normal business retention practices. Working copies, receipts, and operational notes used by the App are kept only as long as needed for bookkeeping, job documentation, or legal requirements.

Security

Credentials are stored in encrypted vault storage. The App posts accounting changes only after we authorize the connection and, for consequential writes, after we confirm the action.

Your choices

Because this is a private app for our own company, we can disconnect Bosun from QuickBooks Online at any time through Intuit's connected-app settings or by revoking the App's OAuth credentials.
